Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She was a part of a number of movies and television shows over the course of her professional career. In the beginning she was an established model, and later after becoming famous internationally, she decided to make her foray into acting. She started her as an actor in the year 1995 on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights'. Harmon's voice was used in an animated film version of 'Batman Beyond': Return of the Joker.' Harmon made the decision in 2000 to pursue film as her primary focus and quit working on the TV shows. She returned to acting in TV series came about after appearing in only a few movies. The year 2008 saw her being one of only a few actresses to pose discreetly nude in 'Allure Magazine'. Her most notable work was in the role of detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. For her role as a detective, she was well-appreciated and won accolades. Angie Harmon was nominated over the past few years for her outstanding performances, however she has not won any awards.
